Understated Luxe.

Cut brass lighting, bespoke upholstery & textured wall coverings. Just a few of the carefully considered elements that brought this interior scheme together. Here’s how we did it.

A large, black, monolithic like kitchen was the starting point of our brief.  It offered a unique challenge of blending a homely interior seamlessly with strong lines & colour.

Firstly, specifying a large scale tile added texture and a subtle warmth to the scheme. It was important not to go too grey.. After that we selected our metals & woods. Using the warmth of brass and smoked oak to soften and ground the black kitchen.

Next, soft furnishings. Without adding a specific colour to the scheme, we brought out rich bronzes & golds to increase luxury but importantly add warmth & a cosiness.

Bespoke Interiors.

Starting the conversation with an interior designer is always better done sooner that later. The earlier we can get involved, the more consideration goes into the smaller details. Its these small details that add up to a successful scheme.

For instance, the way we were able to recess electric tracks into the ceiling, creating a completely seamless transition from curtain, to ceiling. Additionally, being able to position lighting so that they sit in just the right place over your dining table. Not forgetting the finer details such as switches and sockets to tie the whole scheme together..
