A complete transformation of two rooms inside a historic manor house located in the West Yorkshire village of Poole-In-Wharfedale. We project managed a team of tradespeople and oversaw all aspects of the renovation, including the re-installation of traditional-style radiators, the installation of high-end gas fires, stunning new parquet flooring, and a bespoke design scheme.
At the centre of the dining room, we installed a grand, extendable dining table complete with a set of eight bespoke dining chairs. Through the softer materials, we introduced wool-rich curtains, a hand-woven velvet rug, and lustrous green faux suede. Without a doubt, our favourite addition to the room was the Sputnik chandelier by Porta Romana. A patinated brass and bronze chandelier with a sculptural appearance is guaranteed to be a stunning feature in the room for years to come.
In the living room, bespoke curved seating was incorporated to balance a modern yet classic approach. Rich blues and deep ambers were combined with antique brass to compliment the grandeur of the room. We utilised the turret area, with its views over the valley, by repurposing this as a space to switch off and take in everything it has to offer.
