A formal dining space
Its becoming increasingly popular that the dining room is integrated with the kitchen or living space. This dedicated dining area provides the perfect place to entertain, host, or just indulge in some fine food.
Creating an atmosphere
A luxurious dining room needs to have the right feel. The first thing you notice in this space as you walk in are the textured walls. Using a textured wallpaper with hints of metallic silver & gold provided a perfect canvas for dressing.
We selected fabrics for the curtains & dining chairs to continue the lustrous feel of the wallpaper throughout the rest of the scheme. A simple leather tie back added some structure to the window dressing. A high gloss dining table & console provided the formal look our client wanted to create. Finally, we added lighting that combined smokey glass with antique brass finishes.
Here’s what our client had to say.
Some years ago now I called into a little shop in Pudsey called Chic Boutique and received a very warm welcome from Deb – behind that front door was the most amazing array of beautiful fabrics, papers and occasional furniture along with unusual objects and ornaments – I was immediately captivated by the magic that is now Beckett & Beckett
From that first visit we have used Team Beckett to transform every room in our home, we have a beautiful living space – every room different but in touch with a theme that is very pleasing on the eye.
Deb and Oliver are committed to their Craft and invest hours of their time to ensure the finished product is no less than perfect. From design, to sourcing, to finishing touches all with plenty of discussion and interaction.
We are several years into our relationship now, our home is a delight and even better Deb and Oliver have become dear friends.
