Formal dining.

It has become increasingly popular that the dining room be integrated with the kitchen or living space to encourage more of an open-plan style of living, however, in this project, the dedicated dining area provided the perfect place to entertain and host, something our client did not wish to lose. We introduced a texture to the walls that instantly enhanced the level of luxury; a wall covering with hints of metallic silver and gold provided the perfect base for an opulent setting. The fabrics selected for the curtains and dining chairs maintained the lustrous feel of the wallpaper throughout the rest of the scheme. A simple leather tieback added some structure to the window dressing, with a high-gloss dining table and console providing the formal look our client wanted to create. We finished by adding lighting that combined smoked glass with antique brass to maximise depth and contrast.

We are several years into our relationship now, our home is a delight and even better Deb and Oliver have become dear friends.
